MAC Lipstick Review - Please Me

*MAC Please Me - £14.00*

I bought this Lipstick when I was in New York, I'm never adventurous with lipsticks I always stick to nudes and pink colours as they best suit my skin tone. I love the MAC stand especially the lipsticks there's so many to choose from.

I picked up this gorgeous pink lipstick called 'Please Me' which is a very matte lipstick which isn't a too bright or dark pink. It is the type of pink that you can wear on a daily basis without it looking too much. I've noticed that with this lipstick it has a very long lasting finish but as this is very matte I always find it sinks into the cracks in my lips so to stop this I always use a lip balm first then this over the top to make it easier to apply.

Origins Spot Treatment Pads

I was undecided about buying these as I couldn't decide whether I wanted the spot treatment gel instead though I was helped out by one of the sales advisor's at Origins. Both the spot treatment pads and spot treatment gel have been up for beauty awards which made me realise that they are both as good as each other.

For a while I have been concious of the spots that have began to appear around a particular area of my face which bothers me on days where I don't want to wear make-up so I have been looking for a skin care product that would at least remove the redness. My cousin allowed me to try one of her Acne Treatment pads from Cane and Austin which you can really feel working even after one use but being £48 for 60 they were quite pricey for me so I opted for a cheaper version but a version which is a trusted brand.

When I went to Origins I asked the sales assistant about the product and she managed to persuade me to buy them. I was able to find out that the pads contain the same ingredients and formula as the spot treatment gel however these help the minimize excess oil and prevent blackouts and breakouts. Also as they ex foliate the skin they help to remove dead skin and help sooth the inflammation of a spot. I have nearly ran out of these and I am going to go and re purchase these pads as they have really helped when I have a large breakout and have allowed me to target a spot before its able to become a problem. These also smell great which I think is a key thing when it comes to applying something on my face. To find out more about these pads HERE or even the gel visit Origins HERE

Bumble and Bumble Texture Creme

After hearing so many reviews about the Bumble and Bumble Texture Creme I decided to pick up a smaller bottle from my nearest Boots. You place a small size amount onto the palms of your hands and scrunch it through wet hair, you don't need too much. When your hair is dry you notice that your hair will feel thicker allowing you too do much more with your hair. I use this product when I don't want to straighten my hair and leave it natural as it gives great volume and my hair stays curlier for longer.

I only bought the smaller bottle or tube as Bumble and Bumble is on the pricey side but its great that they do smaller sample size bottles for a cheaper price so you can see what you will be getting. I was slightly confused at figuring out how to open this product but I eventually worked out that its a clever twist lid which seals well. This was £9.50 for the smaller bottle and for the large bottle it is £21.
