Burts Bees Nourishing Lip Balm

No one wants to be walking round with chapped lips especially when you want to wear lipstick. After mooching down the isle with all the lip balms I spotted the Burts Bees Nourishing Lip Balm and as you can probably tell it went into my basket. It is one of the necessary items that will always should be found at the bottom of your bag. 

This is the nourishing mango butter lip balm which I am defiantly going to repurchase this once mine runs out, there are other flavours to choose from if your not so keen on mango or even having a flavoured lip balm. The thing I love about this lip balm is that it doesn't leave a sticky feel on your lips, it isn't the kind where any gust of wind and your hair sticks to your lips. I apply this in the morning whilst doing my make-up so my lips are nourished before applying any lipstick. A definite must buy if you are looking for a new lip balm to buy. 

MAC Lipstick Review - Please Me

I bought this Lipstick when I was in New York, I'm never adventurous with lipsticks I always stick to nudes and pink colours as they best suit my skin tone. I love the MAC stand especially the lipsticks there's so many to choose from. 

I picked up this gorgeous pink lipstick called 'Please Me' which is a very matte lipstick which isn't a too bright or dark pink. It is the type of pink that you can wear on a daily basis without it looking too much. I've noticed that with this lipstick it has a very long lasting finish but as this is very matte I always find it sinks into the cracks in my lips so to stop this I always use a lip balm first then this over the top to make it easier to apply. 

Origins Spot Treatment Pads

I was undecided about buying these as I couldn't decide whether I wanted the spot treatment gel instead though I was helped out by one of the sales advisor's at Origins. Both the spot treatment pads and spot treatment gel have been up for beauty awards which made me realise that they are both as good as each other. 

For a while I have been concious of the spots that have began to appear around a particular area of my face which bothers me on days where I don't want to wear make-up so I have been looking for a skin care product that would at least remove the redness. My cousin allowed me to try one of her Acne Treatment pads from Cane and Austin which you can really feel working even after one use but being £48 for 60 they were quite pricey for me so I opted for a cheaper version but a version which is a trusted brand. 

When I went to Origins I asked the sales assistant about the product and she managed to persuade me to buy them. I was able to find out that the pads contain the same ingredients and formula as the spot treatment gel however these help the minimize excess oil and prevent blackouts and breakouts. Also as they ex foliate the skin they help to remove dead skin and help sooth the inflammation of a spot. I have nearly ran out of these and I am going to go and re purchase these pads as they have really helped when I have a large breakout and have allowed me to target a spot before its able to become a problem.
