Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub

Hey Guys, I'm a lover of Soap & Glory and I recently purchased the Sugar Crush Body Scrub.
I have to start by saying how amazing this product smells to me the lime is the main smell of the product and the scrub leaves your skin smelling fresh afterwards. The Sugar scrub is made up from: smashed brown sugar & sweet lime, almond oil & macadamia grains. You use this body scrub in the shower and can use it however much you like or as Soap & Glory say ' Use your Soap & Glory in the shower once, twice, or three times weekly, depending on the level of scaliness you struggle with. (Four times-even if you've ever been labelled ‘old lizard legs)'

You really get your moneys worth of this product it is a pretty large tub and lasts a long time depending on the rate you use it. I bought mine from Boots for £8 which I think is a reasonable price for a body scrub that works. I also recently found out that this product was voted best body scrub by essentials best beauty buys of 2011.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

Hey Guys, If you've never tried dry shampoo I suggest you get out there and buy a can. I was totally against dry shampoo a couple of months ago as a few people put me off buying it saying that they'd used it before and it didn't help or that it left them with white hair but when I was mooching round boots I thought I'd give it a go and totally dismiss what they'd told me and its a good job I had though I only bought a tiny can to make sure whether I liked it or not so I wouldn't be wasting my money if its your first time of trying dry shampoo I suggest buying a small can to see if it works well. The small cans are also really handy to keep in your bag for those hair emergencies.

When I first tried this dry shampoo I was expecting my hair to turn a whitish grey colour from what others had told me so it wasn't a shock to get rid of the white colour alls I had to do was massage my scalp and brush my hair and then it looked as though my hair was fresh and washed which is a great help when your in a rush in the morning. Batiste dry shampoo isn't very expensive for a small 200ml can it is £1.99 and for a larger 400ml can it is £3.33 ( click HERE to see the different scents at boots) There is only one flaw with this product and it is easily changeable and that is that I dislike the smell of the shampoo that I have chosen the tropical smell is very overpowering so once I have used up my small can I shall try another scent.

VO5 Hot Oil Treatment

Hey Guys this is my first blog post on a hair product looking at the VO5 hot oil treatment. The treatment comes in 4 x 15ml tubes that can be used once a week as a one minute treatment. I bought my hot oil treatments from Boots for £2.86 though there usually £4.29 though its worth it (click HERE to see Boots)

The tubes contain 15ml of the oil, before using the product you have to make sure that the oil is heated up I do this by running the hot water tap, fill the sink and then leave the tube in there for around a minute maybe less alternatively take the tube into the shower or bath with you and run the hot water over the tube till it has warmed up.

As I have recently had my hair dip dyed I knew that the condition of my hair would change so I decided to buy the hot oil as it is meant to help:

  1. Reduce breakage from brushing and heat styling by up to 60%
  2. Protect the vibrancy of colour treated hair with a protective UV filter
  3. Remove 75% more chlorine than just shampooing
  4. Seek out and bind the weak sites in every strand
This product puts nourishment back into my hair and my hair smells so nice the next day after using the oil. I haven't dyed my hair before so my hair is soft at the top of my head though the ends of my hair have become slightly rough and has a 'hay' like feel though using this product before shampooing has put the softness back into my hair and helps with the damaged ends of my hair. Id recommend this.
